history

In 1506 Friedrich II transferred the care of Gundelfingen to his councilor Ulrich Alberstorfer the Elder. This was paid with 200 guilders and other benefits. From 1512 to 1537 the care was in the possession of the Memmingen patrician Erhard Vöhlin the elder, who had married Helene, the daughter of Alberstorfer. Vöhlin's successor as carer was Rieger von Westernach , a son-in-law of Vöhlin. In 1557 the ducal keeper Christoph Arnold was handed down from Schweinspoint .

In the course of the 16th century, the Staufen nursing office was merged with the Gundelfingen nursing office. This was subordinate to the Vogtei Höchstädt . According to the Salbuch of 1560, in addition to Gundelfingen, the villages of Bachhagel , Ballhausen , Burghagel , Landshausen , Mödingen , Oberbechingen , Obermedlingen , Peterswörth , Staufen and the hamlet of Schwarzenwang belong to the care Gundelfingen .

With the administrative restructuring of Bavaria in 1803, the area of the Gundelfingen nursing office came to the Höchstädt regional court .
