Hirschau nursing office
The Hirschau nursing office was a medieval administrative unit. It was in the Vitztumamt Lengenfeld in Bavaria . The main place of the nursing office was Hirschau in today's Amberg-Sulzbach district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria.
history
The time when the Hirschau nursing office was established cannot be determined with certainty. Duke Otto II divided the entire ducal area into offices. This reorganization replaced the counties, lordships and bailiwicks. At that time, however, Hirschau was still under the rule of the Counts of Hirschberg. The Hirschau nursing office was first mentioned in a land register from 1326.
The Hirschau office existed until 1802. On March 24, 1802, it was attached to the Amberg district court by ordinance .
