Philip Collins Stevens (born February 15, 1893 in Saint-Lambert , Québec , † April 8, 1968 in Kelowna , British Columbia ) was a Canadian ice hockey player who during his active career between 1913 and 1932 for the Montreal Wanderers , Canadiens de Montreal and Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League on the position of the center played.

Career

Stevens first played with the Montréal AAA before joining the Montreal Wanderers of the National Hockey Association as a free agent in December 1914 . With these he joined the newly founded National Hockey League for the 1917/18 season . There he played four games for the team that immediately had to stop playing because their venue had fallen victim to a fire.

The striker then began his military service and only returned to the NHL and the Canadiens de Montréal in the 1921/22 season. The following season, Stevens joined the Saskatoon Crescents , which later traded as the Saskatoon Sheiks. For the 1925/26 season he returned one last time to the NHL and spent the game year with the Boston Bruins before returning to the Saskatoon Sheiks via the Springfield Indians . Between 1929 and 1932 he let his career with the Oakland Sheiks in the California Hockey League end.
