Philip Rantzer

Philip Rantzer (* 1956 in Romania ) is a Romanian- Israeli sculptor . Rantzer's family moved from Romania to Israel in 1960. From 1979 to 1981 Rantzer studied at the Art Teachers' Training College in Ramat Hasharon . He obtained his master’s degree at Beit Berl in 1993 and has been a professor in the art department at the University of Haifa since 1995  , where he was director between 2002 and 2007  .

Rantzer produces sculptures, assemblages , mobiles , mixed media objects and drawings.
