Philipp Ernst von Bardeleben

Philipp Ernst von Bardeleben († May 1744 in Breslau ) was last Prussian colonel and chief of regiment No. 43 .

Life

He was the son of Christoph Georg von Bardeleben (* 1648; † December 3, 1730), heir to Ribbeck, Selbelang and Retzow, and Maria Elisabeth von der Schulenburg (* August 11, 1666; † April 27, 1726) from the house Ribbeck and Linum.

Bardeleben joined the Prussian Army in 1716 as an ensign in the Anhalt Infantry Regiment . In 1718 he was promoted to second lieutenant. 1727 after the appointment to the captain he moved from the regiment "Bornstedt" in the regiment "Moritz of evidence" .

Bardeleben was supposed to be retired from active service in 1741, instead he was transferred to the "Rampusch" regiment in 1742 as a colonel. In 1743 he was appointed head of the regiment, and in May 1744 he died in Breslau.
