Philipp Oehme
Philipp Oehme (born April 21, 1981 in Rochlitz ) is a German film, television and theater actor and singer .
Life
Oehme, who grew up in Leipzig , moved to Dresden in 1995 , where he worked for six years as a singer and front man in the rock bands "Bloody Mary" and "WET 69". He began his film career in 1999 as an assistant director, until in 2002 he began studying drama directing at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts . He later switched to acting. After two years of study, he was 2006-2007 member of the ensemble cast of the Theater Bremen . Meanwhile, he continued his studies, which he completed with a diploma. From 2007 to 2010 he was a member of the German National Theater in Weimar . He has been working as a freelance actor since 2010.
Philipp Oehme has worked in theater productions by the directors Dimiter Gotscheff , Johann Kresnik , Konstanze Lauterbach , Nora Schlocker and Thomas Bischoff as well as in films by the directors Christian Petzold , Dominik Graf and Bernd Fischerauer . Overall, he played theater from 2001 to 2012, in addition to the Theater Bremen and the German National Theater also at the following theaters: Theater Junge Generation Dresden, Berliner Arbeiter-Theater , Deutsches Theater Berlin , Theater Heidelberg , Hans Otto Theater Potsdam , Lucerne Theater .
In 2009 he was seen in the music video for “Der Weg” by Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and in 2010 in the music video “Devil's hand” by Pentatones.
From December 2013 to October 2014 he played the lead role of Thore Hellström in 156 episodes of the soap opera Verbotene Liebe .
Oehme lives in Leipzig .
