Philippe Albert Joseph Stevens PFE (born March 30, 1937 in Quaregnon ) is a Belgian-Cameroonian clergyman and emeritus bishop of Maroua-Mokolo .

Life

Philippe Albert Joseph Stevens joined the order of the Little Brothers of the Gospel and was ordained a priest on July 13, 1980 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Maroua-Mokolo on November 11, 1994 . The bishop of Bafoussam , André Wouking , donated him episcopal consecration on January 15 of the next year; Co - consecrators were Jean-Marie-Joseph-Augustin Pasquier OMI , Bishop of Ngaoundéré , and Emmanuel Bushu , Bishop of Yagoua .

On April 5, 2014, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
