Emmanuel Bushu

Emmanuel Bushu (born July 31, 1944 in Ngorim ) is a Cameroonian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Buéa .

Life

Emmanuel Bushu was ordained a priest on January 7, 1973 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Yagoua on December 17, 1992 . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Gabon , Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea , Archbishop Santos Abril y Castelló , on March 25 of the next year; Co- consecrators were Antoine Ntalou , Archbishop of Garoua , and Cornelius Fontem Esua , Bishop of Kumbo .

He was named Bishop of Buéa on November 30, 2006, and was instituted on January 30 of the following year.
