Pierantonio Tremolada (born October 4, 1956 in Lissone , Province of Monza and Brianza ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Brescia .

Life

Pierantonio Tremolada received on 13 June 1981, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He then continued his studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. From 1987 to 2014 he was a lecturer at the seminary in Venegono Inferiore and, from 1997, he was also responsible for the training of permanent deacons . Since 2012 he has been Episcopal Vicar for evangelism and the order of the sacraments. On August 10, 2012, he was made an honorary papal prelate .

On 24 May 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Maxita and auxiliary bishop in Milan . The Archbishop of Milan, Cardinal Angelo Scola , gave him and the Auxiliary Bishops Paolo Martinelli OFM Cap and Franco Agnesi on 28 June of the same year, the episcopal ordination . Co- consecrators were the retired Archbishop of Milan, Dionigi Cardinal Tettamanzi , and Auxiliary Bishop Mario Delpini .

On July 12, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Brescia. The inauguration took place on October 8th of the same year.
