Pierre Koralnik

Pierre Koralnik (* 1937 in Paris ) is a Swiss film director and is particularly known for his work Anna and Cannabis - Angels of Violence with the French chansonnier Serge Gainsbourg .

He has also worked with Jane Birkin , Anna Karina , Ingrid Thulin , Michel Bouquet , Tom Novembre , Bernard Haller and Bruno Crémer . In its July / August 2011 issue (Spex # 333, p. 81), Spex magazine describes his music video project Vicky Leandros - Ich bin as "an unforgettable testimony to a country's failed pop socialization " .

Koralnik directed various artist portraits, which give an idiosyncratic insight into the world of the respective artist. Takeshi Kitano described cannabis - angel of violence in an interview as a very important influence on his own filmmaking.
