action

Serge is a killer on behalf of the Mafia . After successfully completing an assignment with his teenage friend and partner Paul in the USA, the organization sends him to France, where he is supposed to take out a group of drug dealers. On the flight to Paris, he meets Jane, the bored daughter of an ambassador. This acquaintance works to his advantage; because after he lost the argument with the French drug lord Henri Emery at Orly Airport , he was able to hide with the girl.

Finally, the organization hires Paul to help Serge. But now he - despite his great 'professional' successes - has had enough of being a gangster; he wants to go far away with Jane. Then Paul receives the order to prevent Serge's plan. He succeeds in doing this.

criticism

The " film-dienst " tore down the film: "The optically brilliant and extremely dynamic staging is wasted on a stupid, trivial crime spectacle." Even the evangelical film observer did not come to a better judgment: “With an elegiac Weltschmerz and 'quitting' mood, dressed up and overloaded gangster morality, fashionably arranged, somewhat lengthy and sentimentally romanticizing. Without recommendation. "

Remarks

The film was based on the novel "Et puis s'en vont ..." by FS Gilbert.
