Pierre Warin (born June 15, 1948 in Rocourt , Liège ) is a Belgian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Namur .

Life

Pierre Warin was ordained a priest on December 23, 1972 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Namur and titular bishop of Tongres on July 8, 2004 . The Bishop of Namur , André-Joseph Léonard , ordained him episcopal on September 26th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Aloysius Jousten , Bishop of Liège , and Guy Harpigny , Bishop of Tournai . As a motto he chose Virtus in infirmitate perficitur .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Namur on June 5, 2019. The inauguration took place on June 30 of the same year.
