The Piper PA-34 Seneca is a twin-engine, six-seat light aircraft produced by the US aircraft manufacturer Piper Aircraft Corporation , which was developed as a touring aircraft and for flight schools . It is preferably used for training to acquire a multi- engine rating. It has been built since 1971.
The Seneca does not have a pressurized cabin . The current model, the Seneca V, is equipped with a glass cockpit .
