The Piz Murtaröl , also called Cima la Casina , is an elongated mountain in the Umbrail group on the border between Switzerland and Italy . The slopes sloping down to the Italian side are protected in the Stilfserjoch National Park .

It lies between the hanging valley Val Mora and the Valle di Fraele .

The quickest way to get to the mountain is from the Pass di Fraele . The ascent from the Ofen Pass (Switzerland) is a bit more tedious .
