Pleasant Hill is a town in Pike County in the west of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois near the Mississippi with 1,047 inhabitants.
Pleasant Hill hosts the Pike County Fair annually . Also annually, the Bi-State Annual Demolition Derby , a stock car race that previously took place at Six Flags St. Louis amusement park in Eureka , Missouri, is held today in Pleasant Hill. The annual Pleasant Hill on the occasion of July 4 organized fireworks is an attraction in the county. The fireworks can be seen from many nearby cities.
