Pokrovka ( Ukrainian and Russian Покровка ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk with about 480 inhabitants (2012). The village, founded in the middle of the 19th century, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name .

location

Pokrovka is located on the river Rekalowa ( Рекалова ) in Krynichky Rajon 89 km southwest of the Dnipro Oblast center . The district center of Krynichky is 47 km northeast of the village. Territorial road T – 04–32 runs through the village .

Community structure

The district council has a total size of 119,809 km² and a total population of 1249 inhabitants. The population density is 10 inhabitants per km². In addition to Pokrowka, the district council also includes the villages

and the settlement Sorokopaniwka ( Сорокопанівка ) and the settlement Myloradiwka ( Милорадівка ) which a station on the railway Dnipro- Krivi Rih has an area of 76.1 hectare and 124 inhabitants has.
