Huljajpole ( Ukrainian Гуляйполе ; Russian Гуляйполе Guljaipole ) is a village in the Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with 1,140 inhabitants (2012). Huljaipole is the administrative center of the district council of the same name .

history

The village was founded in 1781. In 1817 riots broke out among the peasants who were brutally suppressed by the Imperial Russian Army .

Huljajpole is located on the Basawluk , a tributary of the Dnieper in the south of the Krynichky Rajon, 87 km southwest of the Dnipro Oblast center . The district center of Krynichky is 45 km northeast of the village. The N 11 road runs 5 km north of the village, near Malossofiyivka .

The district council has a total size of 123.01 km² and a total population of 1898 inhabitants. The population density is 15 inhabitants per km². In addition to Huljajpole, the district council also includes the villages
