Police headquarters in Mainz
The Mainz Police Headquarters, based in the Rhineland-Palatinate state capital Mainz, is one of a total of five police headquarters of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Police .
Area of responsibility
Area of jurisdiction comprises the cities of Mainz and Worms , the districts of Alzey-Worms , Bad Kreuznach (without municipality Meisenheim ) and Mainz-Bingen and parts of the district Birkenfeld (five local communities from the municipality Herrnstein ) and the Donnersberg district ( municipality Eisenberg , VG Göllheim , Verbandsgemeinde Kirchheimbolanden ). In the area of around 2,500 square kilometers, the authority takes care of the public safety of 800,000 residents.
