The Verbandsgemeinde Eisenberg (Pfalz) is an administrative unit in the legal form of a regional authority in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate . In addition to the city of Eisenberg (Palatinate), the association also includes the two independent local communities Ramsen and Kerzenheim , and the administrative seat is in the eponymous city of Eisenberg (Palatinate).

history
The Verbandsgemeinde Eisenberg (Palatinate) came into force on March 1, 1972 as part of the Rhineland-Palatinate functional and territorial reform that began in the 1960s on the basis of the "Thirteenth State Law on Administrative Simplification in the State of Rhineland-Palatinate". April 1972, newly formed.
Previously, the administrative structures originating from the Bavarian Palatinate (1816–1946) essentially applied in the then administrative district of Palatinate .
