The Pomeranian Volksbank eG is a German cooperative bank based in the city of Stralsund . It is represented by branches, self-service points and a mobile bank in Stralsund and in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen .

In 1992 Volksbank Stralsund eG merged with Raiffeisenbank Stralsund eG to form Stralsunder Volksbank eG. In 2000 it merges with Raiffeisenbank eG Grimmen . In 2001 the Volksbank eG Ribnitz-Damgarten was added. In 2003, the Volks- und Raiffeisenbank Rügen eG merged to form Pommerschen Volksbank eG.
