The Ponnholzbachtal is a nature reserve in the district of Cham in the administrative district of Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

The approximately 30 hectare area with the official designation NSG-00392.01 extends along the Ponnholzbach , a tributary of the Chamb , in the northern area of ​​the municipality of Arnschwang and southwest of the city of Furth im Wald . It "includes a richly structured section of the Ponnholzbach valley, which is of great importance for endangered, disturbance-sensitive bird species".
