Pori (administrative community)
The administrative community Pori ( Finnish Porin seutukunta ) is one of three administrative communities ( seutukunta ) of the Finnish landscape of Satakunta . In 2005, 138,615 people lived there.
In addition to the eponymous city of Pori , the administrative community includes the following eight cities and municipalities :
The municipality of Merikarvia moved on January 1, 2004 from the administrative community Nordsatakunta to Pori. For this, Punkalaidun left Pori on January 1, 2005 and joined southwest Pirkanmaa . At the beginning of 2009 the community Vampula was incorporated into Huittinen .
