Porohy ( Ukrainian Пороги ; Russian Пороги Porogi , Polish Porohy ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 3100 inhabitants (2001).

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1649, is the only place in the 34 km² district council of the same name in the west of Bohorodtschany Rajon .

The village is located in the east of the historical Galicia on the bank of the Bystryzja Solotvynska 33 km southwest of the district center Bohorodchany and 50 km southwest of the Oblast center Ivano-Frankivsk .

The regional road P-38 runs through the village .
