Posewald is a district of the town of Putbus in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

The manor house with park is a two-storey, renovated plastered building on a field stone cellar from the 2nd half of the 19th century with two three-storey corner towers. Owner of the estate until 1327, in the 15th century and after 1850 to 1945 was u. a. the von Putbus family .
The large stone graves near Posewald were originally three grave systems of the Neolithic funnel beaker culture . Today there is only one large stone grave.
