Geography and transport links

Groß-Stresow is located east of the core town of Putbus directly on the Greifswalder Bodden . Not far to the north, state road 29 passes the village. The B 196 runs a little further to the northeast . The Goor-Muglitz nature reserve is to the southwest and the Quellsumpf Ziegensteine ​​nature reserve near Groß Stresow to the east.
