Groß Stresow is a district of the town Putbus in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
Geography and transport links
Groß-Stresow is located east of the core town of Putbus directly on the Greifswalder Bodden . Not far to the north, state road 29 passes the village. The B 196 runs a little further to the northeast . The Goor-Muglitz nature reserve is to the southwest and the Quellsumpf Ziegensteine nature reserve near Groß Stresow to the east.

Attractions
- A statue of Friedrich Wilhelm I commemorates the landing on November 15, 1715 on Rügen during the Pomeranian Campaign in 1715/1716 (the original is at the “traitor's house” on Dorfstrasse; a copy from 2015 is at the original location on a stone pillar as a landmark above the Place).
- Residential houses (Dorfstrasse 7 and 25)
- Katen (Dorfstrasse 8)
- Great stone graves near Nadelitz (located not far to the northwest)
