Geography and transport links

Krakvitz is located southwest of the core town of Putbus. The national road 29 runs north. To the east is the 72 ha large nature reserve Wreechener lake .

Individual scenes for the German comedy Die Heiden von Kummerow and their funny pranks from 1967 were shot in Krakvitz, in which the "Old Wash House", which still exists today, can be seen. The main location was Vilmnitz .
