A city somewhere between Duisburg and Dortmund. The Klüsen family of three lives here. Son Michael is about to finish his studies and is looking for his first job. Father Jörg has worked in a company that sells stationery since his apprenticeship and is satisfied. Meanwhile, mother Inge takes care of the four walls at home and fights a hopeless fight against the demon Depression on her own. The film shows the family's everyday life between university, office, pub and bowling alley, focuses on the little stories in the center and on the edge, which then form the big picture, and carefully approaches the widespread disease depression.

The film was initiated as a no-budget production by Alexander Waldhelm (Words Wanderer) in cooperation with Stephan Glagla (pottMEDIA) and Michael Mölders (Electric Mojoland) and developed into a low-budget production.
The shooting period was the six weeks of summer vacation 2016. It was shot - with two exceptions (Oberhausen) - in Mülheim an der Ruhr on-location. Except for a few crew members (camera, assistant director, light and sound) and a handful of actors in front of the camera, the entire team consisted of lay people.
The premiere took place on May 10, 2017 in the sold out Lichtburg Essen in Germany's largest cinema with 1,250 seats. The film was then shown in around 20 cinemas throughout Germany - including Oberhausen, Duisburg, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Münster, Berlin, Munich and St. Peter-Ording.
