Prize of the LiteraTour North
The LiteraTour Nord prize, endowed with 15,000 euros , has been awarded annually to a German-speaking writer since 1992 .
The prize is awarded at the end of the annual reading tour "LiteraTour Nord", which is organized by various public cultural institutions, bookshops and the universities in Bremen , Hanover , Lübeck , Lüneburg and Oldenburg , and since 2010 also in Rostock . The prize is awarded by the VGH Foundation and presented in Hanover. In addition, there are courses at the universities mentioned.
The six authors of the current tour can be chosen for the LiteraTour Nord prize. A jury made up of representatives of the organizers, the moderators and the VGH Foundation will decide on the award. In addition, the audience has the opportunity to vote.
