Pro Brass (also known as PRO BRASS ) is an Austrian brass ensemble .
Developed in Upper Austria in 1983 as a result of workshops involving a number of committed brass players, Pro Brass combines music from a wide variety of styles in an idiosyncratic and innovative way. The line-up with five trumpets , two horns , four trombones and tuba , supported by percussion and keyboard , is a rather unconventional novelty in the brass scene. Pro Brass musicians are members of renowned orchestras .
