Pups - No Child's Play is a 1999 drama by Ash and Daniel M. Berger with Mischa Barton and Burt Reynolds .

action

13-year-old Stevie, an asthma sufferer neglected by his mother, accidentally finds his mother's revolver and raids a bank with his friend Rocky, who is also 13. The hostage-taking that accompanied the attack and the rush of the media overwhelmed the two young bank robbers. Nevertheless, they enjoy the attention to the fullest. The police cannot storm the bank and end the hostage-taking because the two bank robbers are still children. The police are ready to negotiate with them. The demands made are very atypical, e.g. B. Stevie asks for pizza, condoms, and an MTV television crew .

The kidnapped themselves are also an essential part of the story, because everyone reacts completely differently and the children are even partially supported and advised.
