Stolzmühle is a part of the market Dietenhofen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .
geography
The settlement lies on the Bibert and the Stolzgraben, which flows into the Bibert as a left tributary. In the southwest bordering Bayreuth wood to, is north of the Stolzenberg , approximately 0.5 km to the northeast lies the sandy field . The district road AN 24 leads to Ebersdorf (0.7 km northwest) and Leonrod (1 km southeast).
history
The place was first mentioned in 1532 together with the neighboring town of Ebersdorf as "Mull". Whether the mill was later named after the surname of an owner Stolz or after the nearby Stolzberg cannot be determined.
Towards the end of the 18th century, the pride mill belonged to Ebersdorf. The mill had the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Dietenhofen as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the Stolzmühle was given house number 16 in the town of Ebersdorf. From 1797 to 1810 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Markt Erlbach and Chamber Office Neuhof .
In 1810 the pride mill came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, it was assigned to the Dietenhofen tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Ebersdorf was formed, to which Stolzmühle also belonged. On July 1, 1969, before the regional reform in Bavaria , they were incorporated into Dietenhofen.
The mill was originally operated as a grain mill, from 1926 to 1937 to generate electricity. Only in the 1970s was a settlement built next to the actual mill.
