Pure Bathing Culture is an American indie pop music band from Portland .
history
The band members Sarah Versprille (born 16 October 1981) and Daniel Hindman met as college students in New Jersey know, at that time both lived in Brooklyn , New York , and moved in 2011 jointly by Portland , where she in the group Vetiver played . In 2012 they played as opening act on Caveman and Father John Misty's US tours and released their first album on Partisan Records in 2013 . In Germany they played for the first time in 2013 at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg . In Dallas their second album with producer was in February 2015 John Congleton recorded and titled Pray for Rain released on. October 23 at the label Partisan Records. Another US tour followed in 2016, which was accompanied by appearances as opening act at the concerts of Lucius , Chvrches and Death Cab for Cutie .
