Qualiflyer Group
The Qualiflyer Group ( English Quality - Qualität, flyer - Flieger, Group - Gruppe) was an aviation alliance founded on March 22, 1998 by seven airlines . The name was changed from the already in 1991 founded frequent flyer program Qualiflyer taken.
When Austrian Airlines joined the Star Alliance in 2000, a gradual dissolution process began. The alliance was after the opening of the moratorium on the Swissair and its parent company, SAirGroup in October 2001 dissolved.
Almost all Qualiflyer companies at the time have now ceased operations, have been taken over by competitors or are members of the Star Alliance, which was still competing at the time .
