From Tarija the highway Ruta 1 leads north, pierces the Cordillera de Sama in a north-westerly direction and continues via the village of San Lorencito to Camargo , Padcoyo and Potosí . In San Lorencito, a dirt road branches off in a southerly direction and reaches Iscayachi after a further eleven kilometers. In Iscayachi a country road branches off in an easterly direction, and just under two kilometers later a road turns south and leads for another six kilometers to Quebrada Grande .
