The Moby Dada is a ferry of the Italian shipping company Moby Lines .
history
Finlandia
The ship was built in 1981 under the name Finlandia at the Wärtsilä shipyards in Turku , Finland , and delivered to the then shipping company Effoa (now Tallink Silja Oy , see Silja Line ). The Finlandia drove to 6 May 1990 under this name, followed by the Silja Serenade replaced.
From 1990 to 2010 the ferry was used as the Queen of Scandinavia on different routes and under different flags. From April 10, 2010 she sailed under the Maltese flag with Valletta as her home port. From April 21, 2010 it was used in traffic between Helsinki and Saint Petersburg . For the first time in modern history, visiting Russia on board this ship is visa-free for 72 hours, as is the case on board the Princess Anastasia .
Princess Maria
In summer, in addition to serving on the Helsinki - Saint Petersburg route , the Princess Maria also cruises Saint Petersburg - Helsinki - Stockholm - Tallinn - Saint Petersburg. From October 30, 2011, on Sundays from Vasilyevsky Island in the center of Saint Petersburg, the Princess Maria sailed the route: Saint Petersburg - Helsinki (Anlelegekai in front of Helsinki Cathedral ) - Tallinn (Anlelegekai across the historic old town wall ).
Moby Dada
In 2016 Moby Lines joined St. Peter Line . The Princess Maria was renamed Moby Dada in November 2016 . She started sailing under the Italian flag and was relocated to the Mediterranean.
