The Queune is a river in France that runs in the Allier department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . The Queune rises on the municipal boundary of Tronget and Cressanges , drains in a north-easterly direction through the Bocage Bourbonnais landscape and flows into the Allier as a left tributary after 29 kilometers opposite Avermes , but in the municipality of Neuvy . At the hamlet of the same name, La Queune , water is diverted from the river and fed into the Ruisseau de Vallée about a kilometer further north .
