Quinton Norman Jacobs (born January 21, 1979 in Windhoek , South West Africa ( Namibia )) is a Namibian professional footballer and national player of his country .

Career

Quinton Jacobs began his career with the Namibian first division club Black Africa . In 1998 he was for several trial training sessions at Manchester United , for whose second team he played a friendly match.

In 1999 he left Black Africa and went to Scottish second division Partick Thistle for a year . At the same time, he rejected offers from SV Werder Bremen and Ajax Amsterdam .

In 2000 Jacobs moved to MSV Duisburg , for which he did not play a game before moving to South Africa to the first division club Black Leopards . In 2003 Quinton Jacobs moved back to his homeland Namibia in the first division to the Civics and later to the Ramblers , before he went back to South Africa to Ajax Cape Town .

In 2006 Jacobs moved to Norway in the Adeccoligaen (2nd division) for Bryne FK . After a less than successful year, Jacobs went back to the Ramblers, finally to the African Stars in 2009 and was temporarily loaned to the Palestinian club Jabal Al Mukaber in 2010 . He has been without a club since mid-2010.
