The Río Chico ( Small River ) is a right tributary of the Río Grande in the South American Andean Mountains of Bolivia .

The Río Chico has a total length of 93 kilometers. It forms at an altitude of 2415  m in the village of Pojpo at the confluence of the Río Palca and Río Portillo in the municipality of Poroma in the province of Oropeza in the Chuquisaca department . The river leaves the Municipio Poroma after six kilometers and flows in the rest of the course through the Municipio Sucre . It flows for the first 43 kilometers in a largely south-easterly direction, then further north until it flows into the Río Grande at the town of Sausal at an altitude of 1514  m , a tributary to the Río Mamoré .
