The Río Espíritu Santo is a river in the department of Cochabamba in Bolivia , which is near the town Villa Tunari with the Río San Mateo to the Chapare River combined, which the province and the region has given its name.
course
The Río Espíritu Santo rises on the northern edge of the Serranía de Callejas at an altitude of 2720 m in the municipality of Villa Tunari in the province of Chapare . The river flows essentially north for the first 30 kilometers and then turns east for the remainder of the course. It does not leave the municipality in its entire course and unites after a total of 66 kilometers at an altitude of 287 m with the Río San Mateo to the Río Chapare .
