action

In a western town, a mysterious gang carries out robberies and raids that are blamed on innocent people who are then hanged. After Dan not only had to watch one of these executions, but also became an orphan, he accepts the offer of a traveling charlatan posing as a dentist and becomes his assistant. Several years later he returns to his hometown and finds little changed: fur transports are still stolen and good hunters ambushed. Avenging the death of his father, Dan can identify and kill Murdock and Gorman, two gang members, but cannot discover the spy who uses carrier pigeons to inform the criminals of outgoing fur transports. But when he can cause a delay in the next transport, the gang's plans get mixed up; the respected citizen Torrence turns out to be the mastermind behind the gangsters who can be eliminated.
