Rüdiger von Etzdorf

Rüdiger Etzdorf , since 1899 von Etzdorf (born June 23, 1852 in Neumark near Merseburg ; † March 19, 1935 ibid) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator in the Elbing district , West Prussia province (1888-1907). He is the brother of Ulrich von Etzdorf and the father of Hasso von Etzdorf . The German aviator Marga von Etzdorf is his son's niece.

Live and act

He attended high school in Schulpforta near Naumburg (Saale) and studied law in Jena and Halle (Saale) . Etzdorf worked as a real secret council and lecturing council in the Prussian Ministry for Agriculture, Domains and Forests . In 1888 he was appointed District Administrator for the Elbing District.

From 1898 to 1927, Rüdiger von Etzdorf managed the imperial summer residence including the model estate Cadinen , West Prussia province, as the general representative of German Kaiser Wilhelm II .

Honors

On June 2, 1899, he was raised to the Prussian nobility.
