Rudiger Roehl
Rüdiger Roehl (* 1942 ) is a Berlin metal sculptor .
After training as a blacksmith with Fritz Kühn , Rüdiger Roehl studied sculpture at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art until the end of the 1960s , specializing in metal design. In the 1970s he settled in Berlin and, together with Jan Skuin and Gerd Werner, opened a metal art workshop in Berlin-Bohnsdorf in 1973 .
In Berlin, Roehl realized numerous metal sculptures in public spaces such as in Treptow and Baumschulenweg as well as church decorations such as the decoration in the Biesdorf Church of Reconciliation .

- 2005/2006: Art installation Hobby Horse dreams with the rainbow (together with Jan Skuin), in Berlin-Marzahn , Havemannstraße ; Metal, bronze, stainless steel and sheet copper
A 7-meter-high construction modeled on a rainbow in shape and color , has a horse's head at the top, under which a hobby horse sways in the wind. The work of art marks the Ahrensfeld terraces , residential buildings created by the demolition of prefabricated buildings.
