Together with the professor Agni Swaroop, who had heard of Nisha's death, and Sanjana's friend Priya, they try to uncover the secret of the cause of death, since Sanjana's life is also in danger. They soon realize that they are dealing with a ghost.
When Aditya returns from his business trip, he sees Malini's face in Sanjana's body for a moment. Now he realizes that Sanjana was right, and he confesses to her his affair with Malini some time ago in Ooty: On a rainy afternoon, Malini knocks on Aditya's front door. He lets her spend the night with her. The next morning she leaves the house, but leaves a letter. Then Aditya becomes curious about her. When they happen to meet again, he starts an affair with Malini, but for her it is soon more and she falls in love with him. Malini cannot get used to the idea that Aditya still loves Sanjana. An argument ensues and Aditya ends the affair. The separation puts so much psychological strain on Malini that the situation escalates and Malini kills himself in front of Aditya. With the promise of making Sanjana's life hell. To prevent the police from getting wind of it, Aditya buries the body in the middle of the forest, which has been haunted ever since.
