Rachel Braunschweig
Rachel Braunschweig (* 1968 in Zurich ) is a Swiss theater and film actress .
Life
Rachel Braunschweig completed her basic studies in German and comparative literature at the University of Zurich from 1989 to 1991 . She then studied acting until 1995 at the Zurich University of the Arts , specializing in theater. Since 1993 she has played on various theater stages such as the Bremgarten basement theater , the Lower Saxony North state theater , Rote Fabrik , Deutsches Schauspielhaus , the St. Gallen Theater and the Zurich Opera House .
In 1996 she was seen in a supporting role in Tatort Die Abrechnung . This was followed by occupations in Swiss and German film productions. Between 2005 and 2013 her focus was increasingly on the theater. Since 2016 she has been working more in film productions again. In 2017 she was awarded the Swiss Film Prize in the category Best Supporting Role for her performance in The Divine Order . In 2018 she appeared in Blue My Mind and Wolkenbruch's wonderful journey into the arms of a Schickse , in 2019 in Zwingli and Aus dem Schatten .
