Gerhard 'Geri' Dillier (* 29. October 1949 in Sarnen ) is a Swiss radio play - director , radio - editor , playwright and cultural mediators.

Life

Dillier attended school in Sarnen and obtained at the local Benediktinerkollegium the Matura . He then studied German and philosophy at the University of Zurich and graduated in 1978 with a licentiate . From 1978 to 2014 he was with the Swiss Radio DRS and Radio SRF hired, first in a trainees -Training as a director / playwright, then as an editor and program makers in various ministries ( youth and education , society , country and people , espresso ). Since 1995 he has worked as a director and dramaturge in the radio play + entertainment department of Radio SRF 1 , primarily as a supervisor of the children's club. From 2003 to 2012 he was deputy head of department.

Dillier is the brother of the dialect author Julian Dillier . He lives in Sachseln , is married and has three children. His youngest son Jul Dillier is a jazz musician.

Act

Dillier is co-founder of IG Buch Obwalden and, together with Christoph Hirtler, launched the reading series Vo Gschicht zu Gschicht , which took place annually until 2016, in memory of the Obwalden legend researcher Hanspeter Niederberger who died in 2000 . Dillier often works as a cultural mediator in the background, as an editor, publisher, curator, lecturer, laudator, consultant, initiator and organizer of various kinds of cultural events. Since 1970 he has been regularly engaged as a director and dramaturge at various theaters. From 1990 to 1994 he was the cultural sponsor in the canton of Obwalden .

Dillier is co-owner of the bookseller Dillier in Sarnen.

Radio plays

Dillier is the author of two radio plays:
