life and career

Covey was born in 1998 in New York City, New York State, where she grew up and attended the Stagedoor Manor , a summer camp that has already promoted numerous well-known actors, parallel to her school education . After she belonged to the New York and Los Angeles- based Abrams Artists Agency and was represented by their agents, she was booked in around 2004 for a role in the film Duane Hopwood . In the film released in 2005, she played the daughter of the title character of Duane Hopwood, played by David Schwimmer . Already through this role, the young up-and-coming actress gained increasing prominence and was only booked for another major film production soon afterwards. She had another supporting role in Verwünscht , which premiered in 2007, where she was seen in the role of Morgan Philip . Because of her achievements in film, she was finally nominated for a Young Artist Award in the category "Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Actress Age Ten or Younger" at the 2008 Young Artist Awards , but could not stand up to Bailee Madison , who accepted the award for her involvement in Bridge to Terabithia . After the success of Verwüscht the career of the young New Yorker took a turn for the worse . After that, she was no longer used in any film or television production worth mentioning and instead concentrated on her schooling and a few smaller local theater roles. In 2011 she got the main character as well as the title character of Annie in the musical Annie ; the play has since taken place in the Millbrook Playhouse in the small town of Mill Hall in the US state of Pennsylvania .
