Rachel Hunter
Rachel Hunter (born September 9, 1969 in Auckland , New Zealand ) is a New Zealand photo model and actress .
Life
Rachel Hunter grew up in New Zealand. In 1990 Hunter married rock singer Rod Stewart, who was almost 25 years his senior . The marriage had two children, including their son Liam . In 1999 Hunter and Stewart separated; in June 2005, Rod Stewart filed for divorce. Then Rachel Hunter was friends with the 13 years younger NHL player Jarret Stoll .
Hunter supports the Born Free Foundation and after visiting the rainforests of Uganda she set up her own Rachel Hunter Gorilla Fund.
She currently lives in Los Angeles .
Professional
Hunter became famous while posing for the bikini issues of Sports Illustrated magazine and starring on the cover with Kathy Ireland and Elle Macpherson in 1994 . Since then she has been considered one of the most photographed international models. She was the "face" of Cover Girl , Estée Lauder , Sports Illustrated , Revlon and Pantene . In 2003, Hunter starred in the band Fountains of Wayne's music video for the song Stacy's Mom , in which she played the title character of the song, who can be classified as a MILF .
Hunter also works as an actress. It began with various TV appearances on The Drew Carey Show and played the lesbian girlfriend of Judd Nelson in Susan from NBC . She has also appeared in a number of films including Rock Star , Sydney , MacArthur Park and the boxing film 12 Rounds . In 2012 she starred for the animal horror film Piranhaconda , produced by Roger Corman and directed by Jim Wynorski , alongside Michael Madsen in the lead role in front of the camera.
