Rade Veljović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Раде Вељовић ; born August 9, 1986 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian football player . The striker has been without a club since mid-2015.

Career

society

Veljović started his career at FK Jedinstvo Ub . In 2006 he moved to FK Napredak Kruševac . In January 2009, Veljović moved to CFR Cluj . Cluj transferred 400,000 euros to Voždovac. On May 2, 2009 he made his debut in League 1 when he was substituted on for Diego Ruiz in the 79th minute in the 1-0 loss to Dinamo Bucharest . In summer 2009 it was awarded to Unirea Alba Iulia . After his return, the CFR Cluj agreed a loan deal with promoted FCM Târgu Mureş for the first half of the 2010/11 season . In Târgu Mureş he only came on three missions. In early 2011 he was awarded to FK Borac Banja Luka in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Premier League . At the end of the season he won the championship with his team.

After his return, Veljović was transferred to FK Javor Ivanjica in the Serbian SuperLiga in the summer of 2011 . There he scored seven goals in 27 games and ended the 2011/12 season in midfield. He left the club in the summer of 2012 to join league rivals FK Smederevo . With his new team he had to relegate at the end of the 2012/13 season . He then joined promoted FK Voždovac , but was only used there in half of the games. In the summer of 2014, his contract was not renewed and he was without a club for six months before second division FK Radnik Surdulica signed him. He has been looking for a club again since summer 2015.

National team

Veljović played six times for the Serbian U-21s from 2008 to 2009 .
