Career

Křesťan began his career in the offspring of the Czech first division club HC Havířov , where he was active in the junior team since 1999. After he scored 35 points in 45 games in his first season and increased this point yield in the following year, the striker was called up to the professional team of HC Havířov during the 2000/01 season , where he then played 22 league games and scored five points .

Born in the Czech Republic , he stayed in Havířov until 2003 before moving to the Hannover Scorpions from the German Ice Hockey League . There the right-shooter was used 54 times and scored three times. At the beginning of the 2004/05 season , the Scorpions equipped him with a support license , with which Křesťan was also eligible to play for the Hanoverian cooperation partner, REV Bremerhaven . Until 2006, the attacker mostly went on the ice for the REV in the 2nd Bundesliga. In Bremerhaven, the Czech was a member of the regular squad and was also one of the most successful offensive players in the league. Křesťan's best season was the 2005/06 season , when he scored 90 scorer points in 64 completed games. Due to the performances shown, the striker joined the Frankfurt Lions from the DEL in the summer of 2006 . With the Lions he reached the play-off semi-finals of the German Ice Hockey League in the 2007/08 season . His contract, which expired in 2008, was not renewed. His contract in Schwenningen ran until the end of the 2009/10 season , but the winger accepted an offer from Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg from the German Ice Hockey League.
