mode

In 52 games, all teams play two complete double rounds, so each team has 26 home and away games. The teams in places 1 to 8 qualify directly for the play-offs, the quarter-finals of which are played in best-of-seven mode . Semi-finals and finals, on the other hand, will be played in best-of-five mode. For the teams in places 9 to 13, the season ends after the main round. At the end of the season, in addition to the playoffs, there will be a relegation, in which the last placed team of the Extraliga and the winner of the play-off final of the 1st division take part. In the best-of-seven mode with a maximum of seven games per team, the promoted to the extra league or relegated to the first division is determined.
